Graphics card

Anyone got a spare? Mine's in the process of rapidly shitting itself because the fan fucking died, and due to certain events I don't even have a spare 50 bucks to buy a replacement (and won't have, for at least the next couple of weeks).

I'm currently using a fork as a heat-sink - a job it isn't designed for or any good at. I predict I'll be reduced to on-board graphics in the next day or so. Assuming the on-board even works, that is, since it's an experiment I haven't yet tried.

I have an old AGP and a PCI...they are nothing special...but they might get you out of a jam.

Anything better than 1995 would be ... better.

Entire box died last night. DB brought around cards (thanks mate!) that didn't fit (no harm, no foul, he put in effort which is deeply appreciated), but I thought on-board graphics would tide me over.

Turned the bloody computer on last night and it screamed at me.

Currently running off borrowed box. Looks like I'll be doing so for the next few weeks at least, probably longer. I couldn't afford a new graphics card, now I can't afford a new motherboard even more.

Fucking wireless card dies, so I buy a new one. Then graphics card dies. Then motherboard.

Strangely, I'm back online, so I doubt this can be laid at the feet of a god. Just saying.

Maybe go to one of those computer re-cycling places..?? .sometimes you can get a bargain. Unfortunately, those computer swap-meets are a thing of the past.
