"Easter eggs" are asically funny/fun things to find in software, not documented usually.
Now, for example, in Winamp, typing in 'N', 'U', 'L' <esc>, 'L' <esc>, 'S', 'O', 'F', 'T' really slowly will result in the title being changed to '"IT REALLY WHIPS THE LLAMA'S ASS!"'
Or even the one in VLC Media Player - open it now (tested with 1.1.5) and you'll notice the icon now has a copy of Santa's hat on it.
Now, what I call "Christmas bugs" - bugs which are not really intentional, or even 100% bugs, but are present and are fun.
Now for example, open up MS Paint, and double click one of the slots in the color palette and add the following color to it:
Red: 0
Green: 0
Blue: 1
Now paint something with that; preferrably very large and/or thick.
Then open up VLC Media player and play a video. Move the Paint window in front of VLC and the video should appear through your painted image, taking the same shape as your drawing.
Strange bug, and discovered it after I noticed my windows' title bars all had bits of video showing in it.
