Is it an "on rails" game? I got the Wii version of DS 1 and it was on rails, but I don't know is the other platforms had it as an on rails thing. Just curious. I've played the odd game now and then.

Is it on rails? I refuse to ever look at another game where there is NO MOVEMENT CONTROLS! The WII version of DS1 had you just sliding though the level and shooting at stuff, but there was no option to control movement whatsoever. It was like being on a ghost train ride. I know some people love that - but some people get addicted to eating paper clips as well :)
So? Rails ???? ?????

Thanks! As long as it's a shooter and you can actually drive the character around, it looks awesome^2 :) I like the zombie infection vomit in peoples mouths bit :)

i'm about 3 hours into D.S 2, and loving it... they've really noticed the slight changes that needed to be made... less back-tracking, the orientation-finder thing now has different options... and of course the religiously based story line is really interesting... i find it has most similarity with scientology, especially those 'ads' you see in the church in game...
