building a new computer, ive got the Radeon HD 8650, Motherboard, windows 7, gonna use my current case that has inbuilt fans, gonna buy RAM soon as well as Intel i5. What have I missed

hard drives? ethernet/wireless card?

I assume you are reusing your hard disk/s and CD/DVD. Also, the drives "should" be compatible, unless they are old IDE units and the M/Board has no IDE support.

Is the power supply in the current case adequate?

Ima gonna keep my current hard drives and external one. dont use wireless would I be able to salvage what Ive already got in the computer plugging into the net

how the hell do i check if power supply in the case is good enough. Iam not very good with technical stuff

it says 500W and sure enough my computer seems to be shitting itself as we speak

gruber: if you are gaming, mght I suggest 3 physical drives? One for system (Prote suggested SSD for system) and one for page file (this one should not be a SSD due to the amount of read/writes that need to go to it) and another for data (can be SSD) - optionally another for apps.

Used to have that configuration on my PC until my 1600MB drive failed miserably and I used the other one for page file.

Solid state drive. Effectively a drive which stores stuff on it without any moving parts.
