I made a suggestion that if we can't get newspapers to publish our letters, we should get Tshirt Logoes as our advertisement, one being John Lennon's Imagine No religion, which seems to have gone down like a lead balloon on this forum. I may have to go it alone, but suggest, if this forum is serious have a look at http://www.cafepress.com/antireligion

I dunno if T-Shirts are 'serious' myself. Joining the AFA is serious, and getting behind them in the bus campaign running in line with the campaigns world wide is serious.
There's still happenings with the bus campaign in motion, the fact it was denied was a lot of press about atheism resulting, a lot more than some t-shirts would ever bring.
On the point about t-shirts, if you are serious about them, I suggest going directly to a printer here in Australia, you would pay around 60-70 for the initial screen, and depending on the bulk and colours needed. It would be a lot cheaper than cafe-press, which works out at around $30 a t-shirt with delivery at least.
I suggest joining the AFA is a great move to get your voice added to the growing numbers, and to support it in the next phase of the bus campaign, that is being worked on atm as David Nicholls has mentioned in another thread.

I'm not really one for T-Shirts with little cliparts ironed onto them.
I like the idea of AFA T-Shirts, but only if they are substantial and well designed.
I stand behind that the organisation still needs a logo full stop. Typeface logos work for some organisations but only when the font is appealing and creative.
Its such an old-school 'logo'. Lets get our creative juices flowing people!

anyone wants one they are available for purchase, all profits, if any, go to the AFA. I should add, it's expensive as hell (excuse the pun, but around $68AUD for both together delivered to your door), so if there was interest in a bulk order, I could organise an Aussie based printer.

I think it would be good if people did advertise their atheism with T-Shirts, but I have to admit that I won't be one of them. Decades ago I wore a badge (about 5cm diameter) with one word on it: Atheist. Unfortunately there was always some young buck who decided it was his duty to call attention to the "dick-head" with the badge. Things never got out of hand, but when I'm out and about, I prefer not to be the centre of attention.

I've sold quite a few of my atheist T-shirts on Zazzle. Someone made a bulk order of Happy Birthday Charlie D T-shirts (for Charles Darwin's birthday in February). :D It's funded the Brisbane Atheist Meetup group for the next year. My second most popular item is Invisible Pink Unicorn badges.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions for T Shirt logoes. I am inclined towards something like Charles Darwin + Richard Dawkins = Freedom from religion. 99% would probable think "who is Richard Dawkins". If 10% follow it up, I would be happy
