The Superstitious Atheist.

hi all,

here i go blabbing on about myself.. (yay)

I sometimes think im a little evangalical about atheism. I have a habbit of blowing my short fuse when anyone tries to talk about god and religion with me.
I grew up in an atheist family, so i never really had a religious upbringing. I think thats why i got so interested in the whole thing. Its always fascinated me. I read the bible and qu'ran a long time ago (in secret so my parents wouldn't find out) :rolleyes: and sometimes i will have another read of bits of it, usually when im arguing with someone on youtube, to prove a point. (dont pretend you dont do it)

I also have a grandmother who is very superstitious, and she has made me a paranoid nut about pretty much everything. (go figure)

So to sum me up.. I'm an atheist with superstitious tendancies, or as others like to put it, scitzophrenic.:p

lol, I like poking fun at theist 'logic' as well, tho I try and attack the concepts not the people, hopefully they think about it a little more.

I used to not have a lot of time for religion when someone spoke to me about it, simply tell them it was the Midi-Chlorians
(http://www.theforce.net/midichlorians/midi-what.asp) they would have a hard time arguing it was not .. now I tend to just go for base logic, and the paradox of a god in the first place.

It's all fun, same as discussing politics, 'cept the religious folk get all upside down about it if not really stable ..
