Bloody Praxis!
Now I've been caught out.
I have sent the magazine to our volunteers, AFA committee members, GAC committee members and the odd (not naming names) person.
The AFA Committee Members (the Adelaide bunch) do the inserting, stamping and posting. They won't have the mag until I see them all on Wednesday night at our committee meeting. Members will receive it around Monday next week.
I'll probably upload the pdf on Thursday or Friday. It's 30MB by the way.
If you are not happy with the plan send a PM to Praxis. I have now seconded her as my personal assistant. :D
Cheers
Lee

@Lee: Who am I punishing here, and with which answer?
I really gotta go to bed. I don't get any of this. All I want to do is send out the magazine...

It has indeed. Lee has simply used the lesser known Olde Englyshe (from the original High German) version of the word (the k gives it away, for those cunning linguists out there) she hath so lovingly bestowed upon me. I am honoured to be an hysterical, sorry, historical kunt.
I love that woman :D

No luck with that new link. George Cardinal "Go to Hell" Pell got his "Mad Monk" to hijack it.

Ponde, AFA members (they show up on the forum as green if they are here on the forum but not all members are) can receive the bimonthly newsletter.
It's only $25 to join and well worth it IMHO :)
You can contact Lee if you're interested. Cheers.

Just finished reading my hard copy version of the latest The Australian Atheist magazine - Special Edition 2010 Global Atheist Convention.
Brilliant, excellent, fantastic! Brought back heaps of great memories.
Some good pictures of speakers and volunteers, and feedback from the speakers was very interesting.
Nice to read some 'behind the scenes' from the committee members, especially liked Leigh's piece.
I laughed I cried - once again the AFA committee have done a fantastic job.

Hey Mr Funky T-Shirts! Great to see you :) How've you been?
Yeah, reading it brought back so many memories ... *happy sigh*
Was a shame Phillip Adams wasn't able to put in his bit but I'm told he was in hospital at the time and wasn't able to.

I read it this afternoon too. Yes I know that seems odd but it's the truth. I plan on reading it in one sitting soon.
Leigh's piece was great wasn't it. I'm so glad she wrote something on behalf of the volunteers. She did them proud.
If it's not too personal what part made you cry?

Lee & Tom - Excellent work on GAC Magazine. A beautiful production I will treasure for long time to come.
I had some experience of editing & publication in the past and I do know how much hard work, lack of sleep, excitement, planning, attention to detail you need to produce such a good quality publication.
Congratulation you both, you have performed a miracle ;)

Thanks Hossain.
I'm really pleased you found the magazine enjoyable. It was a huge effort but I personally would not have missed it for the world.
Lee
Thank you, Hossain. Your comments are greatly appreciated. Being at the Global Atheist Convention, meeting and working with the convention committee, and helping Lee in whatever way I could on The Australian Atheist was a pleasure three times over.
