Hi that is me behind the 'Jesus Loves You' billboard that threatens motorists that otherwise might be thinking selfish thoughts. I am the voiceless athiest that chooses to think that this whole GOD thing is a heap of stupid gobbledegook. Despite this, I have no qualms with people having supernatural beliefs, whatever floats your boat, but why then should they have a problem if people like me want a slogan of our own? Why is there a problem if free thinkers like me what to put that slogan on a bus and give another point of view? Are we that scary? Funny when you think about it. If the all loving GOD was to be angry and he would strike me down not them, his loving devotees. So why then the problem. It would be a sure fire way of shutting me up dontcha think?:p

Sorry I guess the Jesus billboard is just too damn big. Thanks for the welcome and thanks for providing a great forum. I like to think the God Squad might join in now and again like God Is Good. They get the discussion fired up for sure.

Absolutely agree Duffy, and welcome to the forum.
The Bus Campaign is proving to be a good way to bring all this opposition out into the open, and will prompt people to actually think what freedom of speech means.
Here's hoping it encourages people to be more vocal about these issues and fires up the discussion even more, and keeps it going for as long as it takes for everyone to agree to put religion in a box with a lid on it ;) not that I think that will happen any time soon!
