Elle McPherson is a blonde?

Last time I looked she was a brunette.:)

A blonde and brunette are in a lift.

A guy gets in.The brunette notices he has severe dandruff.

After the guy gets out,the brunette says to the blonde ;"That guy needs some head and shouder

The blonde replies:"Yeah I guess-----Umm,how do you give shoulder?"

Blonde 1 was standing on the river bank and calls to Blonde 2 on the other side.

"How do I get to the other side of the river?"

Blonde 2:"Don't bother...you are already there!"

That's actually quite Zen.

Two blondes walked into a building.

Geez! You'd think ONE of 'em would have seen it!

That is rather Zen really. I like the dumb-blonde jokes better than the slut-blonde jokes. I must be quite naive - I had only heard the former variety until last xmas my redneck cousin started reading out a bunch of the latter type. I was shocked and appalled! And just plain confused...

That is rather Zen really.

This is another tangent (re: Zen), but hey it has never stopped any of us before....

I was having dinner with my BFFs and one has Chinese heritage and studying Buddhism and teaches RE at the local primary school. Sometimes we discuss our differing beliefs but her intentions are so peaceful and caring I don't ever get my hackles agitated. But I can't help thinking how delusional her thoughts are to life, death and life (take 2). It is so very nice..but so very...I guess... pretentious. Romanticising natural processes to give them meaning is very childlike to me. Kinda reminds me of when mum used throw a lace curtain over the old hot water system to pretty it up.:)

If you like that kind of humour, and are not familiar, you might like the humour of the Sufi teacher Nasrudin.

An example:

Friend: "Nasrudin! Why are you spreading that red sand around the outside of your tent?"

Nasrudin: " It's tiger repellent"

Friend: " But there are no tigers in Arabia."

Nasrudin :" Yes, pretty good stuff, isn't it!"

ha! this is the joke on my philosophy-via-humour calendar for today:

Every morning, our neighbour steps out onto her front stoop and declaims, "Let this house be safe from tigers!" Then she goes back inside. Finally, we said to her, "What's that all about? There isn't a tiger within a thousand miles of here." And she said, "See? It works!"

(it is explaining the Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc Fallacy... apparently :))
