How do I get the Subscription emails to just send me one email with every post that I'm subscribed to listed in that email? The only options I see are Instant, Daily (default), Weekly. But they all send you an email for that specific thread.
I want just one email for all the threads I'm subscribed to. Possible?
Sometimes I get nearly 20-30 emails a day just from this site.

Hi mate
I've set you to daily which (in theory) should only send one email a day. Let me know how it goes.

Didn't work. It sends me a daily email, but a seperate email for EVERY thread I'm subscribed too. I'll just turn it off. I visit the forums every few hours anyway lol So I don't really miss much.

*snerk* my poor lonely email account is thrilled to get the activity. "Oh LOOK 18 new messages!!!!! Ah, all from the afa forum." I know others have more robust email accounts and I can see where the thread count would get a bit high. Especially as you are an active poster as of late! :D

Yes, next step is actually joining the AFA. Which I planned to do yesterday, but I got paid in cash and the bank was closed when I arrived at 4pm :(
So I will today. If I can figure it out. Too many things 'I' have to do to sign up if you ask me :P
Wheres a good ol' php form where I can just enter my details and hit the big Submit button when you need one :P
ATM I have to > Download App form > Download Student App form > Print said form > Fill out a check / money order > go to the mail box > and wait 2-3 weeks ;)
Waay to many steps for a lazy gen Y'er like myself. But nevertheless, luckily you have yourself a cause I am willing to get up off my ass for :D

Point taken. Davo (with a little help from me) is building a new AFA website which will have much better submission forms and perhaps a pay by PayPal/VISA button :)

Ha ha, Jamie. I mentioned this, on your behalf, before you'd even joined this forum!

Is there any chance you can produce an online membership form, where fields are filled in, then simply hit the Submit button? It's just that a member on the BAMG said he'd like to join the AFA, but simply can't bring himself to fill in that horrible-looking form...
If not, can the form be improved, like getting rid of dots and replacing those broken underlines with unbroken ones, and some alignment?
If not, oh well, I simply had to mention it and now it's been mentioned!Vonnie

I know I am so lazy I admit it. But if I'm not working I'm at Uni. If I'm not AT uni I'm driving to/from uni :(
But I am literally writing an email to info @ atheist foundation . org . au with my mock up of the membership form right now and I'm about to transfer the fee and a donation after that. So I'll see you on the other side ;)

Is that the guy that did the Wall-E song Down to Earth? I thought that song was pretty awesome.

Yeah, up until they became the Yuppie Band With The Same Name. Lost me after Invisible Touch.
As Davo could probably tell you, I could bore for the national team if the subject was 1970s Oz/NZ underground, and I'm a bit mad for prog, electronica, world... okay: let's just say I don't do opera or rap, and I avoid bad country.

I agree, lets pretend Phil Collins was the drummer in Genesis and then left the industry ;)

Oh, he's more than okay as a drummer, and he was a great singer for Genesis for a while too. It's just that, in both band and solo mode, the decision to quit came a few albums too late.
Face Value is an excellent LP: if you find the Classic Albums TV show on that or The Who's Who's Next, get a look in.

Phil Collins is awesome too. "I can feel it coming in the air tonight". And I went and saw his Tarzan musical on broadway (if thats the same person), I still even listen to it today.
Cept never heard of Genesis before, perhaps before my time?

In a past life as a singer in a cover band I had the unfortunate talent of sounding like and having the same range as Phil Collins, so we had to do lots of Phil's songs... including "In The Air Tonight" (try singing that) ARRHHHH!!!

I'm fairly sure that I've edited my profile to try and stop subscription notifications coming to my e-mail, but I still seem to be getting them.
How can I double check that I won't get any notification e-mails about updates to threads I've posted in ?

Yep, you have turned off subscribing to threads but you will still receive notifications of threads your subscribed to.
You will need to go to your Control Panel and choose List Subscriptions and highlight and delete all your current subscriptions.
Let me know if you need more info.
