Hello. I agree. There may be an element of defensiveness in some of the negative reactions. I think we do need to show that we aren't a small minority - we are numerous and we should be heard.

religious leaders should be worried their stupid beliefs are starting to be questioned.Education is the key to atheism in my view the more we know the less room there is for religion and we are becoming a a better educated society i like to think so anyway. the global atheist convention was just the start and it was GREAT. sorry you couldn't be there but the opportunity to attend the next one shouldn't be too far away (i hope).
