Has anyone else noticed how tall the convention crowd is? Is it arrogant to observe the proven link between height and IQ?

Well considering the ramifications of the data mean, standard deviation, margins of error and the fragility of my long skinny legs, I consider the findings unreliable.

Is it arrogant to observe the proven link between height and IQ? Marilyn vos Savant may be 5 feet 8 inches tall, but I know plenty of mentally handicapped that are over 6 ft. The link you speak of is weak...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Height_and_intelligence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Height_and_intelligenceIt)
It has been claimed that a positive correlation exists between human IQ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligence_quotient) and height (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height) within national populations...

...variation in height explains about 4% of the variation in IQ.

The correlation between the two factors is therefore weak, although statistically significant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statistically_significant), and these studies do not imply that there are no short people who are highly intelligent, or that changes in physical height have a direct effect on cognitive ability.4% doesn't prove much.

Well, I actually walked through a bodybuilding and fitness convention thinking it was the GAC gathering until I noticed the signs but I can tell you now I did for a split second admire how fit Atheists were... Well then I noticed my fly was undone, saw the GAC sign pointing away and casually shimmied through the group, zipped myself up and found the real oasis.

Even if the Chasers referred to it as Revenge of the Nerds 4... Ha ha, good times.
