Just wanted to wish all you guys at the GAC all the best and have a great time, I know that you will.:)

Can't even make the meetup tonight as I can't get the night off work due to taking Sunday night off to celebrate a massive cricket GF win :cool:(which is the reason for my non attendance on the W/E).

Can't wait to hear about the weekend, been wondering if there will be many religious attending or even protesting for that matter.

Will definitely attend the next one though!!!

Well said JG: Best wishes to everyone from me too. Really wish I could have hung on to my tickets but life throws some little surprises sometimes. I hope there is another convention now that the stage has been set.... (some govt funding from the coffers that we all contribute to would be nice next time too). Enjoy. :):)

:) Praxis mate, we haven't actually played yet I was being "confident" (Lucky I'm not superstitious otherwise I'll have mozzed myself) the game is actually on Saturday and Sunday (hence not GACing!) and next Saturday.
couldn't you have thrown the game so you could attend? ;) As much as I would love to have attended this is a massive weekend of cricket for me, been playing for 20years with the one club and we have never won the shield in the top grade (played in 3 losses over the last few years) and being 40 probably haven't got much left in me at this level:eek:
Must say though that getting on here and also thinking about you guys is a nice distraction from thinking too much about the game!
Anyway enough about me, I see pre GAC drinks for some went to 2am! My kind of pre drinks :)
Hope the meets have gone down well, again I'm sure they have.
I don't blame you for having butterflies this morning, such a big weekend of meeting new people, well not new but unsighted I spose how fun.
