Nice. Its scary how quickly Christianity overtook everywhere. Though, they should add little white blotches from 1800 AD for atheist nations in Europe, and the blotches elsewhere :P

Pretty much follows the trek that humans followed to populate the earth, interestingly enough.

Interesting link.

As a kid one of my main doubts about religion was that the christian faith wasn't worldwide. Surely an all powerful god would deem it as important to make themself known to all people in the world and not just those "lucky" enough to be raised with access to religous education?

It amazes me still that something that seemed to be common sense to me as a 10 year old evades the logic of all the religous believers out there.

It's like watching a virus spread...
How nauseatingly true!
And what a clever map... how admirable that someone thought to do it -- and had the skills. Thanks for posting it, Davo.

yep. seems as a species we've had a tendency to believe and spread nonesense. :(

It's horribly simplistic and doesn't include the many 'pagan' religions, and it is also too crude to really represent the current state of affairs (particularly in the immigrant countries)...

...but I like it.
