I was a (seldom seen) member of the previous forum, but I figure I should re-introduce myself.

My name is Brett, but SinisterDexter to anyone online (note, "Sinister" is not an adjective, so correct shortening of the nick is "SinDex" or just "SD", not "Dex" or "Dexter" - although I note there is another SD on this forum so it may be better to use SinDex).

I have always been either agnostic or atheist, and pretty much atheist since the start of high school. I have had a decent amount of exposure to religion, but never 'got' it.

I am 31 years old, a new father (12 week old son) and have been in a stable, unmarried, amazing relationship with my partner for almost 16 years. I am sick to death of organised religion of any stripe and have recently started looking into ways to get a bit more active about it. I hope to be more active on the forum and look forward to chatting with you all soon...

SinDex- I'm rather liking the nick name. It's like a phone book listing just the fun stuff. ;)

In this context it is a noun.

The nick is actually based off an old political argument I had on the redundency of the left/right labels in Australian politics in the modern system. Anyone who knows their Latin will immediately realise that Sinister = left and Dexter = right.

I hope there is no confusion amongst the others, just remember kiddies, one is sinister and the other is a schizo ;)
