Global Atheist Convention on the Internet

For those unlucky enough not to possess a ticket to the 2010 Global Atheist Convention (and I am sure there are many like myself), will there be any attempt by the AFA to broadcast, netcast or transmit the event, or sections of it, via the Internet or other media?

Live access to the presentations would be excellent, and I, for one, would be prepared to pay a fee to the AFA in order to view the live proceedings through the Internet.

Failing this, are we likely to have access to YouTube or Google Video presentations? Perhaps transcripts of the key speeches?

I understand from the pre-Convention emails I've received there will be a film crew at the Convention, so I guess that DVDs will be available some time afterwards.

This is too good an opportunity for the AFA to let pass, and I am certain that there are many people, such as myself, who only belatedly found out about the existence of the Convention, and that it was completely booked out.

All may not be lost. Email info@atheistfoundation.org.au and ask to be put on the waiting list for a ticket. You might be lucky yet.

That must have been very recently as a friend of mine picked up tickets from the waiting list in the last couple of days.

There is over 100 on the list, closed as it is unlikely at best that there will be that many or more pull out
