UPDATE: I've had word from the booking committee that unless we find one more person to sit at the tables I have booked (there's 19 on the list), we'll end up with a *gasp* random stranger at our table!

So if you're attending the dinner solo (that rules you out Justin, sorry!), and would like to sit at our tables (and why wouldn't you?! There's me, Fearless, dac, DanDare, Chin-oh Choi, OzAtheist, LeeC amongst others), please PM me your real name and your dinner ticket number BEFORE TOMORROW (Saturday, 20 Feb) so I can advise the Table Booking Committee.

Not that there's anything wrong with random strangers (after all, most of us have never met each other anyway, so in a way we're all random strangers ...) but I thought I'd offer it to any AFA forumites who might like to sit at our table :)

So be quick as there's only the one space left!!

I've now closed bookings for seats at the two tables I've booked for the Saturday night dinner.

I have 19 on the list and I've sent that list, with names and dinner ticket numbers, off to Lee now.

So it's all done and locked in Eddie.

See you all in March!

And for those of you who are booked to sit at my tables, all I can say to you is it was your decision and I cannot and will not be held responsible for anything that occurs as a direct result of you being seated at those tables.

I had a group of mates from the RDF who are coming to the dinner and we wanted to sit together, so many months ago I started a list of those who wanted to sit together. Then the list grew and I expanded it to include AFA'ers who might want to sit in a group as well.

It is my understanding that you only have to book people at specific tables if you want to sit together. Otherwise, it'll be first in, best dressed as it were.

Think of it like this, you'll get to meet a bunch of random strangers at your table but you can be practically guaranteed that not one of them will try to convert you, proselytise or witness at you. Nor will you have to worry about any awkward moments like saying grace or somebody bringing up their personal friend, Jebus.
