Thanks Praxis! I was ecstatic when I finally managed to get a hold of a ticket! Only the Sunday pass, because that's all I can afford as a poor uni student (and add flights & accommodation on top of that...) But I am more than satisfied :D :D

Get a move on and book! There's some cheap accommodation at backpackers and other places, you can cut costs by sharing too.

I have this vague feeling the MCEC people don't like tents, unless it's part of the Caravan & Camping Show :)

Flights booked. Very excited :D Accom is sorted staying with a friend from Thursday until Sunday. Need to find somewhere to crash Sunday night, but I think that should be cool too.

Don't forget a Laptop, it's more or less a requirement for any Geek|Nerd, Atheist or not. I'll be bringing mine (although leaving it in the hotel) so I can stay in the loop.

I think I've almost decided what to wear on the plane, and for the first night, and for the 1st full day - but I still can't decide what to wear for the 2nd full day or what to wear for dinner on Saturday (with family!) Will it be hot, will it be cold....

Mel-Bun can drop 20, 25 degrees in an hour-its like being on Mars. Perf temps seem to drop more slowly, with less contrast. I am just going to pack a big case with everything in it.

Three days to go for me (I'm only showing up for Sunday - couldn't get a weekend pass). Finally retrieved my copy of The God Delusion back from a friend of mine (who has come to the dark side recently) as I am hoping that Professor Dawkins will be gracious enough to autograph it (he seems like a nice chap, but it will be nervewracking if I meet him in person.
