I'm so upset that I missed out ... I purchased a Dawkins "A" lapel pin especially for the occassion ... Cry Cry ... :(
I'm still feeling posive though ... I wonder if some extra tickets will be released at the door on the day ... Sometimes they do that ...

Well I just heard back from the organizers. There wont be any extra tickets made available on the day ... Ohhh ... My feelings of dread grow by the hour ... Who can save me?

Put ads everywhere. Go over to the Richard Dawkins forum (http://forum.richarddawkins.net/index.php), join up and put a post in the Meetings & Events section, join Atheist Nexus and publicise how much you want a ticket.
In short, no one will save you but you :D
All the best. Next time you won't be slow to book will you? ;)

Hooa, I just saw your post over at RDF. Trust me, it will get utterly lost in that thread, which is now up to Part 2 and 16 pages long!
I suggest you make a separate post in that forum - make it stand out, type in caps or something - people are more likely to see it that way.
Good luck!
PS: I agree the eBay seller may not be aware there is a waiting list.
Did you join Atheist Nexus? You could join the Aussie, Kiwi & South Pacific Atheist group and send a group message as well. That would reach quite a lot of people.
Cheers.

Your so thoughtful Praxis ... Thanks ...
I slackened off with my postings yesterday because i was offered a Sunday ticket from a member of Melb Atheists ... Then last night he told me that his girlfriend had the ticket refunded so Im back on my search mission/frenzy today .... Im going to adv in our Age & Australian newspapers and i will do as you suggest.... Im still very hopeful and I have a feeling we might start seeing more tickets for sale on e/bay as we get closer to the event ...
I'll keep you in touch .... Thanks again :o

No problem Hooa - I hate to think of anyone missing out who so desperately wants to go.
All the best with your search. Don't forget to let us know if/when you score, okay? :)

Hey!! I was wondering yesterday how you were doing in the hunt for tickets.
Congratulations hooa - we'll see you there on the Sunday then!
I'm really starting to think that nametags with forum names will be almost mandatory so people can recognise names and introduce themselves.
Congrats again. Let the countdown begin!
:)

Yes please!!! I and my dearest will be at a table full of strangers at the saturday night dinner and it will be very helpful as an icebreaker to meet up and put a face to the names around the table!
