Am very happy to see there are a range of women's shirts as so often the slimmer cut is not offered and you end up either missing out or walking around feeling like you are wearing a tent. :)

I have ordered!
Two bus campaign stickers and a t-shirt.
My only quibble (and it's only little) is that the t-shirts don't come in black. I very, very rarely wear white but I made an exception this time ;)
I love the beer stein! I don't even drink beer but it made me laugh anyway but perhaps not as much as the pet bowls :D

Unfortunately cafepress do not do double-sided black t-shirts. :(
After the convention their may be a front logo black t-shirt version available however ... at the convention their is a colour coding of t-shirts so that folk can tell who is convention organisers, who are volunteers etc. Afterwards it's won't be an issue.

Do you just want to use something with the Atheism theme?
Do you want to convert/deprogram your dog?
Do you want to be 'out there' without being in anyones face?
Do you want to be 'in their face'?
Do you like wearing maternity clothes?
These are the questions you must answer... :D

Well! I just sent a pic of the dog in his atheist shirt to my partner (who is a graphic designer) and was told the whole design and especially the words 'rise of' were very 'White Australia Policy' !!
Needless to say I totally disagree with him - thoughts?

@ two dogs - fair call, fair call indeed!
He is an atheist as well so I just found it strange that it was his first thought.
I'll just have to buy extra stuff to pi** off his design sensibilities. :D

Graphic designer? that's very 'White Australia Policy' in itself. graphic designers appropriated native imagery and commercialised it within the framework they speak of, I would like to see them explain how the logo does this.
get them to read : "The panoramic narrative and the production of historical consciousness: this is Australia" (http://researchbank.swinburne.edu.au/vital/access/services/Download/swin:2341/SOURCE1) for more information on what I am talking about.
I would say it's psychological over the fact there are plenty of white t-shirts, otherwise they are just speaking thru their proverbial with such a sweeping statement. Indeed I would say it's their latent focus on race within themselves

Thanks davo, I appreciate that.
I really have no idea what set him off, probably just having a bad day!
Can I just say I don't mean to offend anyone with this (unlikely I know) I was just truly surprised that he saw it in that way and really wanted to know others opinions.
I like the logo and see the 'Rise of' bit as us saying 'see you can't burn us at the stake anymore ha ha'
In general he is actually a good designer, I promise!

Maybe there is a reason. Personally I would push buttons to see what it is :) hehehe

Not sure, but he is right in the graphic design was an important part of the white australia policy, but it did so by appropriating native imagery and modernising it/putting it in a european format. The same as the stolen generation with children put into white homes.
it's very real, I only answered because it is an important topic I think, and the imagery in the logo is an A for atheism, with the outline of our island as the hole in it, rising over the curve of the earth.

In general he is actually a good designer, I promise!lol, oh I am terrible when I write, for some reason and I think it is me, it gets taken a little too full on, maybe there's something in the way I write that does it, or the fact I get involved sometimes in trying to explain myself :)
Not sure, best bet is to ask them if it's the wording or the phrase and why, otherwise we are just all guessing :)

So true.
once again thanks for not just ripping me a new one everyone!
I get very nervous posting these sort of things (anxiety issues) - someone might reach through my computer and yell at me!
On another note, do you think it is appropriate to wear your atheist shirt on free dress Friday at work? (I should mention I work for the state govt) ha ha, me thinks me know the answer!

Treating people unfairly at work because of their cultural difference may be unlawful under equal opportunity laws. It really depends on the situation. I would do so, and take a spare ;)
I would also if asked to remove it, ask for the reasoning for this, and also point out that you would like a formal response/statement regarding the issue, so that you can see where you stand with help from the Equal Opportunities commission.
then again I love doing that kinda stuff .. been so long since I worked for the gov ...

Mr Black - that is one of the best shirts I ever did see :)
Re free dress day, I am sure if I wore a Jeebus loves you shirt no one would say a thing but of course that is the double standard we deal with day in and day out.

You will have to ask cafepress that. I honestly did not check out all sizings (nor have any idea what sizings mean even my own) and put up as much gear as there was options without kids or baby stuff.
The unisex 4X-large t-shirt has a chest/bust size 147-152cm as the largest they provide.
I have no idea if this is reasonable or not, I have to claim ignorance and lack of any other choice due to the costs involved if we were to pre-print t-shirts and try to even attempt the logistics of ordering to satisfy and unknown demand etc.
We trusted in cafepress being the best option for all, after going thru so many possible ones.

OK. Sorry. I was just looking at the women's t-shirts. The Unisex one has my size but I'd rather have one without the speakers' names on the back - are they available in the larger sizes?
And Pro - not all of us are flat chested, ya know. ;-)

Yes in the next category on the site 'apparel'
http://www.cafepress.com.au/aussieatheists/7029697
As mentioned in the Offical Front and Back section "You can find these styles also in the apparel section without the back print, at a slightly reduced cost"
here is the same basic t-shirt, without the back :

Most ecumenical of you, Ma'am!
Indeed, I've been trying to lay my hands on an AAI t-shirt but no luck so far.
The only thing I'm not looking forward to at the Convention is that you won't be there, Blackie. Expect lots of SMS messages!

Yes, add things to your cart, then just go to the other shop, your original items should remain in your cart.

Laughing myself silly here. I ordered my t-shirt to fit my carefully measured ample bosom. It arrived today. I came home and tried it on. It's big enough to make a ball gown! It's so long I could just whack on a pair of high heels and a pair of diamante earrings and I'd be all set to go to the Convention dinner.
Never mind, my friendly neighbourhood seamstress will perform her magic on it and I may be the only person there with a bespoke tailored Convention t-shirt.
Now to decide whether to wear it with or without the tiara ... decisions, decisions.

I'm wondering what I should buy from the store. My merchandise from the RichardDawkins.net store came today. So I'm getting kind of excited about the convention.
