What a ridiculous question, 'what is the purpose of death?' Death is the result of the body failing to live. There is no purpose. It's not even a design of nature, so sorry new-agers you can't spruke the answers either. Where's common sense? Arhhhhh....

BTW I didn't pick this up the first time....but he says that the angel will show a pic of Muhammad, and if you can't say who the guy in the picture is correctly, you'll be hit with a steel hammer...

Muslims aren't meant to reproduce pictures of Muhammad, so how will they know they are looking at a pic of Mo???

I don't quite agree with you on this one....! Imagine that all and every creature lived forever. That would render evolution practically useless because the offspring would be fighting for survival with their parents ad infinitum. So death is very necessairy for evolution to function optimally, and the shorter the lifespan, the faster evolution can take place.

Correct me if I am wrong... :o

No I agree there is a reason...but not a purpose, as in a goal. Does that make sense? It takes the design idea out of the equation. :)
