The speakers and discussion at the GAC will throw up a lot of questions and material that will be chewed over here for months, and I'm wondering if it would help to organise a format for publicly documenting it all before that happens.

My initial plan was to write up a day-by-day online diary, blog-style, for my Facebook page and Online Opinion, where I post often, but looking at the number of people going to the GAC from this forum alone, it might get a bit confused.

I have no solution in mind. If people want to broadcast their thoughts, would it be better for each poster to have a thread, if they want, or to pile into one and sort out the pertinent issues from there?

It would seem easiest for attendees to simply start threads according to particular topics, but some might want to expound upon the proceedings without too much spam interfering. The goal, ultimately, would be to prevent half a dozen threads on the same topic or speech erupting at once.

What think you?

Our trained Thread Wranglers are standing by, improv skills honed to a sharpness of .05 Occams.
They could be wild, untamed, man-goring threads.

Is that a metric Occam?

I haven't. I'd call for atheist clowns to prepare for disaster, but that sounds all too Rapture Ready.

I always though Occams go Wankel.
