Well as my username suggests, I'm Dane, and I'm very surprised such a simple four letter word wasn't taken. I'm 21 and I'm currently studying law externally through USQ, aiming at working as a prosecutor. I'm a musician and gamer, and I'm doing my best to influence local politics in the area, in a vain attempt to get issues higher up.
I was lurking for a bit, enjoying some discussions, so I thought I'd join. I don't really have a "coming out" story beyond "I was born". I'm the second child of two atheists, grew up thinking that was normal, and was perplexed throughout my childhood as to why so many people believed in something so silly. Granted I'm still perplexed, but less so now.
Hmm, that's about it.

Well at least being a law student you should have a hell of a lot more know-how than I do on this area.
Welcome to the forums. :)

What area? Religion vs Equal Rights?I was referring to what Dane mentions about attempting to influence the political system. If there is one thing that a good lawyer can do it is find loopholes in legal systems.

I hope.:( I'm mainly interested in changing antiquated notions on technology and its effects and trying to prevent gits from calling the shots on stuff they don't understand. My local MP has at least raised the issues on my behalf, unlike my canned replies from others that don't have an obligation to listen to anyone beyond their constituency...
