Hello
I'm posting from Ireland. In Ireland I started a virtual think tank and now we've decided to go global. In the last hour I've posted on sites in South America, Germany and now Australia.
The idea is to spread effective ideas across the globe and to find projects that can be launched in sync. At the moment in Ireland a handful of people are working on an idea to raise peoples consciousness that will require global co-operation if all the details can be worked out. There are a lot of obstacles but we heretics only have this life to make an impact so anything is worth a try.
Looking forward to talking to you.

Hello FXR,
I would be interested in hearing more about this 'global heretical project' idea.

I'm in Dublin, home of a public transport system designed by a team of people who weren’t talking to each other
The idea is to spread strategies, ideas, terminology and when appropriate, co-ordinate actions across the globe. I've already posted in the atheist forum (on this site) to let people know about countmeout.ie
Naturally being Ireland the main focus is on the CCL (the Catholic Church Limited). From Vatican HQ Catholics all across the globe repeat the central messages. Recently they co-ordinated a strategy regarding the victims of child rape and torture where they repeated the line "let’s focus on the plight of the victims". They moved the spotlight away from the Global Institution and onto the victims under the guise of concern.
Two can play at that game.

This is a great site for networking with Australians, but for global networking, why don't you try Atheist Nexus (http://www.atheistnexus.org) - its purpose is to bring atheists from all over the world together and allow them to network.
AN doesn't try to compete with other atheist organizations - indeed, they encourage them to set up groups on their site. You could start your own group there if you like.
Currently, AN has over 11,000 members from all over the world.
I hope this information helps.
