I just need some examples of weird stuff in the babble, along the lines of witches, unicorns and supernatural stuff. The exact lines would help as I don't have a babble and know you guys and gals are all way smart and have it at your fingertips.
Thanks in advance.

Job 39:9-12 (King James Version)
9Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
10Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
11Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
12Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?
Deuteronomy 33:17
17His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
Psalm 22:21
21Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
Isaiah 34:7
7And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
Numbers 23:22
22God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.
Revelation 20:2
2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
I'm sure there are more, but that's all I've got. Keep in mind, the argument against this is that there's an alternative meaning for these and it's not meant to be to be taken literally.

Thanks peoples. That is exactly what I was looking for. It is ammunition for my gf's daughter who is teaching in a multi-denom school and we had a discussion about the witch children on the 4 corners doco that I saw. She asked me where in the babble that witches were mentioned and I couldn't remember where I had seen it.
She believes the babble is true so I need stuff like this.

EX 17:14 God says that he will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek.
DT 25:19 "... you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven; you must not forget."
(That remembrance is now permanently preserved in the Bible.)

Do you consider a talking ass supernatural?
Numbers 22: 28-30
28 And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said: What have I done to thee? Why strikest thou me, lo, now this third time? 29 Balaam answered: Because thou hast deserved it, and hast served me ill: I would I had a sword that I might kill thee. 30 The ass said: Am not I thy beast, on which thou hast been always accustomed to ride until this present day? tell me if I ever did the like thing to thee. But he said: Never.
And of course there's the talking snake:
Genesis 3:1-24
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” ...
Another talking beast here in Revelation:
Revelation 13:1-18
And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?” And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. ..."
Revelation 20:2
And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
Psychics & Such
2 Chronicles 33:6 or 2 Kings 21:6 ??
And he burned his sons as an offering in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, and used fortune-telling and omens and sorcery, and dealt with mediums and with necromancers. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking him to anger.
Isaiah 8:19
And when they say to you, “Inquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter,” should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living?
Acts 8:9-13
But there was a man named Simon, who had previously practiced magic in the city and amazed the people of Samaria, saying that he himself was somebody great. They all paid attention to him, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the power of God that is called Great.” And they paid attention to him because for a long time he had amazed them with his magic.

I note with interest that one of the differences found in the NIV is that it renders the words shown in this thread as unicorns as 'wild ox'. Now, I'll grant it fits better. However, it screams "We didn't want a bar of any unicorns, so let's translate this 'wild ox'.

Update as asked for. This is the email I sent to my gf's daughter. She is a wonderful person but a little overawed by religion.
She sent me this site regarding the child witches.
http://jesusblogger.wordpress.com/2008/11/12/saving-africas-witch-children-the-most-upsetting-documentary/
And here is my response to her. Cut and paste in an email with my responses to the website.
Quote by Wolty: Thought I would offer my thoughts on the article. My comments are in bold.
At the end is some of the responses from the same page. End Quote
I am watching a show on Channel 4 as I write called “Saving Africa’s Witch Children” (see write up in The Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/nigeria/3407882/Child-witches-of-Nigeria-seek-refuge.html)), it is really saddening to see that people are killing and abusing children in Nigeria in the name of Jesus. This is not really christianity, it is African witch doctors re-invented.
It may be african witch-doctors reinvented, however they are all ordained memebers of christainity and they are using the bible to get rid of witches
Exo 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
They say they are representing Jesus, but I never saw Jesus ever beat anyone to cast out a devil. No such thing as a devil.
Neither did I ever see Jesus start to charge people to be ‘delivered’. The real witches are those who are doing the torture and abuse, it makes me sick. I am ashamed of these people, I am ashamed that these people are hijaking the name christian when they are really demons from hell themself. No such thing as demons, no such thing as hell.
Moreover, I am sad that the Dispatches program has linked these groups with ‘Pentecostalism’, my God, the orgins of the Pentecostal movement is not about this. Well this is where pentacostalism ends up in uneducated god fearing people.
It is about reaching the world for Christ by showing love, sharing, having all things common. You can do that without christ.
The early Pentecostal pioneers would be turning in their graves, just as I am fuming that these Nigerian witch doctors (Not witch doctors, ministers in a christians church) are hijacking the good name ‘Pentecostal’.
More reason for Oneness Apostolics to differentiate themselves as ‘Apostolics’, too many people claim to be ‘Pentecostal’ these days and it has just become a euphemisim for lunatic in the eyes of the unchurched.
I agree with this last line.
One of the women who is to blame according to Channel 4 is a ‘prophetess’/'evangelist’ called Helen Ukpabio (http://helen-ukpabio.com/default.htm) (read a related blog about here (http://endtimespropheticwords.wordpress.com/category/helen-ukpabio/)) , she made a horror film (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0906000/)–yes a horror film–to evangelise and educate people about the dangers of witch children. This film has led to superstitious ignorant people fearing children and even killing, beating and torturing them. They are all christians aren't they?
Her church is called ‘Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries’ (http://helen-ukpabio.com/default.htm)someone needs to shut them down and lock her up, I don’t know what kind of spirit she is operating under, but it is not right. No such thing as a spirit. I wonder if this person believes in ghosts as well? Or maybe unicorns? Num 23:22 God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.
Who does she report to? Who is her covering?
What is ironic is that in her testimony (http://naijablog.blogspot.com/2008/11/helen-ukpabio-saver-of-souls.html) Helen Ukpabio tells that she herself was a child witch initiated at age 14 and ‘delivered’ at 17. Well maybe she was. It is in the bible
Shame the blogger writing about her calls her ’saver of souls’, I am upset that someone who is causing such havoc could be deemed a saviour.
Helen Ukpabio is the one exception where I would say that we should re-introduce Paul’s teaching to the Corinthian women who were causing a stir: “I suffer not a woman to teach”.
Good point.
Let a woman learn in silence with full submission. I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she is to keep silent. 1 Timothy, chapter 2.
Honestly, I am gobsmaked that this kind of backward practises are taking place in Africa. It makes me wonder if some of the same crazy things are taking place in African churches in London? Is this brand of religion being imported into the UK? You can not mix the gospel of Jesus Christ with African superstitions and paganity. It isn't mixed. Its in the bible.
Channel 4 had a number at the end of the show for people to call if they want to know what they can do to help stop this abuse, I am going to call it, please can you do the same…08456 041 444. You can also take more direct action by donating and reading more at the JustGiving blog (http://justgiving.wordpress.com/2008/11/12/saving-africas-witch-children/) or the donor page (http://www.justgiving.com/witchchildren) on JustGiving.co.uk of the Charity working to save Africa’s children ‘Stepping Stone Nigeria’.

You may be offended by linking it with Pentacostalism, but personally this kind of insanity seems to flow naturally from it. When you encourage hysteria and the suspension of rational thought what do you expect?

Thank you for the update. Bravo! for breaking it down and showing how one with a realistic perspective would see it.
Christians are giving assignments to memorize a couple of bible verses at a time, which encourages them to skip around the bible. I have noticed that they tend to ''barrow' other people's opinions and make them their own. They don't bother to do any research to see if their Peers\Role models even know what they are talking about. The more research one does, the more unbelievable BS they find. If they are capable of having their own unbarrowed opinion, they are more likely to stop believing in fiction and fairytales.
She sounds very nice. Just keep intellectually challenging her opinions with facts. Well, that's my advice, anyway. Thanks again for sharing.

Depends on the bible you use. NEVER use the “good news” bible, its useless to understand scripture, the best one is the New Jerusalem Bible, I have just the Jerusalem Bible, but they both provide a more accurate translation, and strictly speaking its not a unicorn it’s a “wild ox”. Not to worry though, most Christians have never seen the inside of a bible anyway, much less given any thought about what is written in it, but I thought I would just clear that up, as a “technicality”, sorry if I spoiled anything.

What is quite interesting is a lot of modern Christians are saying not to follow anything in the Old Testament but that would then mean there is no point of the Old Testament there in the first place. :D

Yeah this gets them in a bit of a conundrum. All you need to do is mention the fact that the ten commandments are in the old testament.
Then ask questions like " Do you believe in talking snakes?" That really freaks them out.
Actually, I have found that as well. It is almost like they are apologetic for the old testament. Then you can bring up stuff about killing adulterers and so on. Then get the stuff in the new testament about Jeebus saying nothing in the old testament can be changed. Someting like "Not one jot". They all get kinda confused and stop talking.

What is also funny is that in their self-righteous ownership of the bible, they seem to forget that all the Jews have is the OT, and they aren’t nearly as bad as that Christians, so maybe the problem is in the new NT?? After all the idea of hell as a place of torture for all eternity comes from the NT, actually it’s in the gospels…
