Hey all, sorry for the late greeting. Anyway I consider myself a fairly strong atheist but I also like to think I have an open mind to the possibility that I am wrong, but I doubt that I am. I’m also probably one of the few Brazilians who aren’t Christians (born there moved to Aus when I was 2 years old) but then again I guess I’m a freak when it comes to the stereotypes of Brazilians, I’m not fanatical about soccer and I’m an introvert.
I love everything science, all branches and subjects. I’m an avid reader mostly fantasy and science, but also history, crime, and those book of general knowledge.
How I came to be an atheist was not that remarkable, religion was never a subject in my family, I thought I was a Christian but never really believed in god, didn’t go to church but when I was in year 5 we moved and I went to a Christian primary school so then religion was something I just became aware of more and realized I didn’t believe in it, but year 6 I guess I would consider myself an atheist. Since then I’ve loved debating the subject with people whenever I get the chance, I read widely on the subject and am interested in all religions (I guess I just like the stories).
So yea that about sums me up I think, looking forward to sticking around and contributing to general discussions.
