A look at some of the flawed thinking that prompts people who believe in certain non-scientific concepts to advise others who don't to be more open-minded.

This video comes up again and again .. it's a good one. I recently PM'd someone with it, they hadn't come across it (even tho it's in quite a few threads)

Maybe we should look at some of the more common stuff posted regularly being put in a 'sticky'?

Apologies, Davo - speaking crap here, as usual. Feel free to delete at your leisure.

Oops, sorry! I did do a quick search of the forum before posting it. I'd never seen it before, and I've been here (and on the previous AFA forums) forever (except for a couple of weeks here and there...)

I don't see the "stills" of embedded videos any more, though, as I run a very wonderful Flashblock extension in Firefox, whereby any embedded vids simply appear as a "play" arrow/button, which I can choose to click on to play, or not.

I very rarely click on embedded vids - in this forum or anywhere else - that don't have accompanying text in the post. (And quite a few vids are posted without any accompanying text...)

EDIT: I just did a search on "open-mindedness" and the other two threads with this vid came up, which means I must have made a typo when I previously typed in the search term before I posted this vid. Obviously, bloody spell check doesn't work in the search box... :o

Guilty as charged, Vonnie.

The 3 Minute Philosophy thingies are very funny :)
