That kind of thing just shits me. It's hard to say that we as atheists should ostracize any religious person for the same reasons they do but then we would just be sinking down to their level. People need to wake up to themselves and stop being a slave to such a delusional idea. They say religious people are the most peace loving moral people on earth and then you see everyday shit like this. Further proof that religion is a poison as Christopher Hitchens says. Interesting to note when she was asked why she was an atheist, she answered she has been since she was born. Everyone, really speaking, is an atheist when they are born. It's when you are subjected to religious bullying or are given a choice in a private situation that it changes, or not changes depending on what you choose.

Revelation of revelations: Nicole may be an atheist because her father is an atheist. And why, Mr White Southern American, are you a Christian as opposed to, I don't know, a Hindu?

I use this a lot when arguing with xians, they hate it and refute it as completely false i.e God's children

What a brave young lady-schools are supposed to be for the enlightenment of young minds, all Nicole gets is a modern version of the inquisition. It is interesting how Christians, who charge atheists with being moral vacuums, or worse [devil worshipers] can treat this intelligent, vital and talented youngster like a piece of shit.

Excellent video. She and her dad seem like cool people.
And she's got a myspace page (warning - a song starts playing when the page loads) so it's good to see that's she's still keeping it real.

It was also good to see those people getting together at that American Atheist meeting.
Thnx Duffy.

That was an amazingly brave thing for her to do. Her dad is very supportive...it's a shame that her belief is hindering her from fulfilling her dreams of going to Uni.
