The remaining innocent townsfolk spent the night as nervous as a butcher's thumb. With bodies dropping like flies and the Mafia seemingly taking control of the Casino, everyone spent a restless night in the knowledge that the bodyguard, cops and the casino security were now dead, leaving the innocents vulnerable. Pillows were clutched tightly whenever footsteps were heard going up and down the hallways and the hotel sheets gained a few more (highly unpleasant) stains on them.



During the early hours of the morning, muffled screams and splashes were heard echoing around the casino grounds, in competition with the incessant sound of poker machines and spinning roulette wheels. Later on, as dawn broke, some teenagers looking to earn some extra money started diving for lost golf balls in the lake, which separated the casino from the adjacent 19 hole golf course (the 19th "hole" is a large mass grave used by the mafia). They didn't find any golf balls, but they did find...

Voltairine told me that reddix thought I was the Don and I assured her that was not true. Voltairine also knew that Sieveboy had investigated you with the camera and that you had come up as suss. Clearly SB reached out to the wrong person.

Despite her pleas and protests, some of the mob grabbed Voltairine and dragged her towards the kitchen where they were sure to find some sharp knives. Unfortunately, the silverwear had either been stolen and pawned by desperate gamblers, or left in the corpses of mafia hit victims. With little other choice, they grabbed Voltairine and stuck her hand in an electric toaster. She protested her innocence and tried to pull out the plug in vain, but it was too late - Volts lived up to her nickname and shuffled off this mortal coil.

Volts was contracted by the mafia to assassinate an innocent player in each day round, when no protection was provided, so if any pesky cops or bodyguards, etc, popped their head up, it would be quickly cut off - perhaps metaphorically, perhaps literally.

Tonight, in the absence of any protection or blocking, there will be an inevitable hit, bringing the innocent/scum player ratio to 3:1

Tomorrow, with only 4 players left, Jin-Oh Choi will start the round with 5 penalty votes for not voting in this current round, making his demise inevitable no matter how many other votes are placed on other players. This brings the innocent/scum ratio to 2:1.

The Godperson gets a final hit in the following night round which brings the ratio to 1:1, parity and the win condition for the mafia team.

I shared, I networked, and passed the info back to Threat - a mafia don worthy of the name till... well he can share that if he wants. If I seemed town it was because I was effectively town. I've gotten nothing from any of the others, except Prax who seems to trust me and Reddix who I'm still none the wiser on. One of them is hiding something. So I have nothing to help with the decision.

Hi Volt, we got lucky, cause I am beginning to suspect there is still one more (at least) special role out there, and the way the GMs keep making sure we specify who's doing the killing, they may be a bomb, or maybe just forensic investigator or something. I believe Reddix is some kind of crazy.

Who do you think for tonight's kill? Some options:

1) Praxis - Attempt to convince Loki to join us in getting Podblack or Reddix....

b) Loki - Attempt above with Praxis, or attempt to turn others against Praxis...

iii) Jin-oh or Reddix - Try some weird-arse shit.

I don't like going up against both of them.

I also don't know if we'll be able to deflect Sieveboy's 'camera' comments about me. !!! Idea: Can you please post something now, like 'What?! But sieveboy had PM'd me that XXXX was scum! I believed him!' Cast some doubt on his camera ability - without mentioning me at all. You'd have to make sure it fit in with all his PMs to you though.

I think VOP's role would be a massive boost to scum. One of towns biggest assets would be assessing the voting pattern when they moved to lynch a known scum, knowing that the scum had been identified would allow you to completely avoid any pattern, and be ready to bus them. Did you think it made a difference scum?
