The writings come from research by Acharya S, better known as D.M. Murdock, as well as elsewhere. whereas much of the research is extremely good, there are critiques of the work and how it has been tied together, also from atheist perspective here (apologists are all over the work in general):

The JAAL piece is quite good and succinct, it could be added too as well, but be aware it comes from wider research that included understanding of Murdocks works, and some of the errors in it, hence written in the format of asking questions, rather than making statements.

Saying that, the main questions this research raise, as presented in the JAAL article, are relevant ones, and the background information supporting it is there. It is other material in the research that it came from, that is in dispute.
